This committee was formed to provide advice and guidance to the Board of Commissioners regarding elderly issues. The group also allocates funds for elderly services provided by the Home and Community Care Block Grant (Federal Title III Older Americans Act). Established: February 19, 1990.

Requirements for Membership: No less than and no more than 15 members supportive of the purposes of the Committee who possess qualities of leadership; employees of services agencies which compete for governmental funds to serve the elderly are not eligible to be voting members of the Committee.
