Planning Board was established to perform its duties under the zoning ordinance and others as required by law or directed by the Board of Alamance. Planning Board also serves as Board of Adjustment to hear and decide appeals made by the Zoning Oficer, and to authorize variances to the Zoning Ordinance. GS 160A-361, established September 4, 1969.
